Here at Gloria’s Shito, we want to make sure your shopping experience is as worry-free as possible. That is why we have a comprehensive shipping policy to make sure when you order from us, you know what to expect and your order is in good hands. Please take a look at the following policies so that you understand how shipping works at Gloria’s Shito.
Order Processing
Gloria’s Shito takes each order seriously and that is why we take our time to process each order to make sure each order are accurate, arrives on time, and without any issues. All orders are processed within 3 – 5 business days. You will receive a notification that your order has been received and you will receive a second notification when your order has shipped.
Shipping Methods and Deliver Times
Orders are generally shipped within 5 business days using our carrier of choice, Sendle. We offer a variety of shipping options to meet your needs. Below are the estimated delivery times based on the shipping method selected at checkout:
Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days
Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days
Overnight Shipping: 1 business day
Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or carrier issues.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
We ship across the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We also ship to the territories of the United States. Domestic shipping rates across the United States are calculated based on the weight of your order and the delivery location. You can view your total shipping costs during the checkout process before completing your purchase.
Please note that shipping rates are estimates and not guaranteed. Changes in the shipping rates may occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control such as weather or carrier issues.
International Shipping
Gloria Shito’s aims to share joy, love and appreciation for Ghanaian culture by bridging global communities through cuisine. As part of our mission, we want to share our products with the entire world. That is why we offer international shipping to select countries through our carrier, Sendle. Please review Sendle’s international delivery coverage for a list of countries we are able to deliver to.
Shipping costs and delivery times will vary based on the destination country and the weight of your order. Please note that you are responsible for any customs, import duties, and taxes (including VAT) that may apply. We are not responsible for these charges if they are applied. They are your sole responsibility as the customer. We strongly recommend checking with your country’s customs office to understand any potential fees.

Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your package on the carrier’s website. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update. Please be aware that some international orders may not come with a tracking number if the carrier does not provide them.
Restrictions
We use the carrier Sendle for our shipping needs. We currently ship to addresses within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We also ship to the territories of the United States. Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. Please be aware certain products or orders may also be restricted from shipping to specific locations due to legal or carrier constraints. Please review Sendle’s international delivery coverage for a list of countries we are unable to deliver to.
Insurance
Please note that we do not provide insurance for any products or orders. Once your order is shipped, it is subject to the terms and conditions of the shipping carrier, including any optional insurance they may offer. If you wish to insure your package, we recommend contacting the carrier directly to arrange for coverage. We are not responsible for any uninsured losses, damages, or theft that may occur during shipping. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that the risk is yours upon shipment, and you agree to these terms
Liabilities
We are not liable for any damages, losses, or issues that may arise during the shipment of products. Once the package is handed over to the carrier, the risk of loss or damage transfers to you, the customer. We do not assume responsibility for delays, mishandling, or any other issues that may occur during transit. Any claims for damaged or lost items should be filed directly with the shipping carrier. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that we are not responsible for any obligations related to the shipment beyond our control.
Damaged and Lost Orders
If your package is lost, missing, or arrives damaged, please contact us at Shop@gloriasshito.com with your order number and details. We will investigate the issue and work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible. For lost, missing, or damaged items, please include photos of the damage in your email.
